We used to come here maybe twice a year. Every time we come, we hope the menu had changed. I find it astonishing after many years that there is no creativity at all in that place as the menu remained the same. The salad was aplenty of spinach with a small strip of smoked salmon. I felt like a rabbit eating all the spinach as it was overpowering the plate. The cost (14?) was way over priced for the salad. The linguini was heavy and scallops few. I agree with one reviewer who say that they have gone downhill lately. They need new ideas, new inspiration to overhaul the menu to make it different than you run of the mill Italian restaurant. They also need to invest into some structural changes to their restaurant to have the bathroom on the first floor.

The Bruschetta Mista - which is supposed to be a mix of the best bruschetta tasters! This was a disaster. One was a toasted piece of rye bread with brocolli, another was the rye bread again with just diced tomatoes, another had the rye bread with tomato and feta. Disappointing to say the least.

This was our first visit and we were blown away! The server was prompt and friendly, and very knowlegeable about the menu and wine list. We sat in the more formal side, and it was very busy, and full of people who seemed to be having a great time!
The grilled calamari was so good, it smelled amazing when it came to the table. Our small house salad was huge, and we probably could have split it, it had dried cranberries on top and very good. The veal chop was beautiful, with smoked mozzarella and onions on top, and perfectly cooked. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and mixed roasted veggies, our server said that they had been roasted in their wood burning oven, and they were great! The pasta was very good, very mild tasting, just as the server said it was. My husband keeps wanting to go back to have it again. Dessert was creme brulee and you could see the flecks of vanilla bean in it, very good, not overly sweet. We can't wait to go back and I've been telling everyone I know about it ever since. We wish we had tried it sooner!!
