Went here for a friends birthday and was not disappointed! The martini list is by far the best I have ever seen and the little tappa type appetizers we ordered hit the spot. Delicious food! I don't know why the other reviews are so bad, but this was by far the best chinese food I have ever had! I went in with my friend and the service was awesome! We were seated immediately, and our food came in about 5-10 minutes! The owner was so nice, and the atmosphere was cozy! The food was delicious! YOU MUST try the general chicken! I came to this restaurant for my father's birthday and the food was incredible. It is an authetic portuguese restaurant on James street in Hamilton. For an appetizer we had the Bruchetta, which is baked pizza style bread topped with tomato, onion and garlic. Yumm! For the dish I ate the Filete com arroz, which is fish filete with seafood rice. The dish cost $17 but was really cheap considering the amount of food that was provided. I will definetely return to this restaurant and recommend anyone to try this place. They have a large menu with many options. If you havent tried portuguese food or just love the food, you wont be disappointed at the Wild Orchid. Read more

The Golden Wok, has been part of the Eringate area, for as long as I can remember. If you live in the area, you have ate here. You know exactly what you will get with this restaurant. Try the General Tao Chicken. It comes with a side-sauce so you can select, how much sauce you want on the chicken. The sauce is one of the BEST Chinese sauces, I have had at ANY Asian eatery... Well battered. And good quality chicken. The only dislike is for the lemon and orange chicken, they do over-load on the vegetables, a tad too much. Other than that, I will keep going here for years to come! Prices are great! Fish, Pork, Beef, Chicken, Vegetables... whatever you are in the mood for, I would give everything a try! They do deliver in the area.. If you are nice to the lady, on the phone, and give a generous tip... they are willing to drive a good distance, to deliver the food.
