Had an amazing meal with my boyfriend at Duncan's last week! Normally don't have overly noteworthy service, but the young gentleman serving us that day was quick, entertaining and extremely sweet. We'll definitely be back in hopes of having him as our server again!! We come there for lunch often because the food is of the best in Collingwood! Good things are worth waiting for! The food here was AMAZING and likely the best Middle Eastern cuisine in Toronto. And being Middle Eastern and quite critical of Middle Eastern cuisine myself, take my word for it. The Filet Mignon and Chicken are incredibly moist and tender. MUST HAVES !!! Hummous and Baba Ganoush were just barely behind my moms! We've held two medium size functions in this restaurant (20-30 people) including a baptism. We were initially worried about pleasing everyone (its rare that EVERYONE really enjoys the food anywhere), however, that was the case BOTH TIMES! Italians, Greeks and Arabs, ALL LOVED IT. I recently read some so so reviews and felt it was important to share our own experiences so that others would have the opportunity to taste the food and not be deterred. We had a reservation, and although they had a party going on in the private room the service was fine. They warned us they were really busy but I didn't find it slow. They had a great variety of stuff for the kids, but also for those of us who tend to stay away from carbs. I had the liver with extra veggies instead of potato and it was really good....it was two large pieces and I took one home. The kids loved the fish and chips and pasta, and my husband had a pasta as well, which he really enjoyed.
