I have spent 3 years at Master Yaes and have learned much. If I will ever be able to use it is debatable but Ive had much fun along the way. By far my favourite part has been teaching the younger ones. It is a highlight of my week to see the children having fun and learning together.Continued membership can be expensive as you pay a fee each time your child goes to test for the next belt but Ive come to learn that it is an expectation of most clubs. I recommend, but look around for others first.

My daughter joined ACMA when she turned 6. Today she is 11 and is a brown belt. The reason I put her in karate at the time was because she was underweight and on the weaker side. I noticed a huge difference in one year. She gained weight, strength and endurance. Today, she is very fit and much healthier as a direct result of her training. It has also built her confidence and self esteem. I would highly recommend All Canadian Martial Arts to anyone at any age!!!

After over 5 years, the RHB has become my second home (although I often find myself there more than my actual place of residence). The chief instructor, Sensei Doug Knispel Jr, is by far the most knowledgeable person I know in martial arts. He shows a genuine passion for teaching in every class and cares for every student if they were his own children.
