when we first got to the restaurant we were seated the waitress was friendly, and quick to get whatever we asked for. Once the food had arrived the eggs and omelette were perfect the bacon wasnt too cooked or under cooked. Everything was made just perfect. I have been coming here since 2003/2004. Three different owners since than but they still seem to get our favorite dish right the chicken steak with the rice. Mmmmm, nicely grilled juicy chicken breast, lots of flavor and tasty. I agree with the previous reviewer that the taste changes from time to time, different cooks, but 7/10 times u will get a great meal. We come here b/c it's a great option when we need a quick but good meal. I would just recommend that one dish. Most of the time we would do take out, and the best part is that our 4 year old daughter loves their chicken. Don't be fooled by the looks!

Wonderful restaurant and drinking establishment. I usually go there with my boyfriend but sometimes, late at night, when he is asleep, you can find me at Jax because that is where good friends meet. And I've met so many good friends like MJ and have recently got my hair extensions done by this beautiful woman who had carried around roses that entire evening. I went there once with my friend Claire, who was, at the time, struggling with her weight and needed assistance to get to the karaoke bar to sing 'Stand By Your Man' and no one mocked her obesity. The food there is great and it is full of great real people. I cannot highly recommended this place enough and when you come out on a Saturday night after making an easy 25 bucks, I'll have a place reserved for you at my table. Jax where everybody knows your disability.

A welcome gem in the Junction. Staff are inviting, friendly and efficient. I tried the smoked beef hash at Saturday Brunch. Superbly smoked meat and crunchy potatoes under a perfectly poached egg in a cast iron skillet. Ginos special hot sauce was an added treat.
Came for the comfort; stayed for the food, will come back for the service.--JDM
